I Began work in the Queensland Film and Television industry at 15, whilst studying, as a camera assistant and freelance Autocue operator for a number of freelance camera operators, Directors of Photography and production companies throughout Queensland and Australia.
After 3 years of close ties with freelance operators and skill-based training I purchased personal audio equipment and began work as a freelance sound recordist in 2005, to compliment my further studies.
Late 2008, I became managing director of Matched Image Ptyltd, a Brisbane based broadcast supply company, catering for small to medium sized production requirements; providing productions with crewing and equipment.
I have been involved in hundreds of projects over the years, ranging from corporate to television commercials, drama pieces and documentaries, across a variety of mediums, both film and digital. Many of these have been as a Head of Department technician through leading Australian production companies.
Others, I have had the pleasure of producing, facilitating and being a Director/DP combination for client and Agency direct; some of which can be found on this site.
This, coupled with a proven track record with successful business endeavors, allows me to help facilitate crewing and production requirements throughout Queensland, to suit small to medium sized production budgets and shoot requirements, based on a strong foundation of SME procedures with complimentary technical film and television production experience.
I am currently undertaking an MBA at the University of Queensland (UQ), with a projected completion for June 2025.
